Troja Whitewater Course
Prague, Czech Republic August 3-4, 2002
The digital camera has been acting up lately. This means
there is only a paltry offering of shots from the Prague World Cup. While
the shot of Joe and Matt racing has almost as much resolution as the vaunted
photographs of Big Foot, the picture of Bob Campbell could double for
a passport photo. Bob was Olympic coach and manager for the 2000 Sydney
Team, and is a great friend. He joined the team for the Prague race, and
is now being hosted by the French Federation and will be one of the course
designers for the World Championships.
The restaurant photographs were taken on a busy street in
downtown Prague. The 'Tower' photo captures the splendor of the Charles
University student housing (the tower in the picture now doubles as a
hotel, and home for week for the U.S. Team). When the prints from our
traditional camera are developed and scanned, we will upload a myriad
of 'good shots' from all of the races.
